WHAT WE DO

Our programs and services comprise, though not limited to, the following areas:

Technology and Development

This forms the core of our mission as one of the earliest ICT for Development organizations on the continent. We carry out training on the development and use of technology and the current trends in the evolution of Agentic Artificial Intelligence. We also extend our efforts to digital archiving and cataloguing, data processing and management, and the dynamics of the new media in the 21st Century.

Research

In the bid to remain one of the leading think-tanks on the continent, our interventions are research-based as we push for informed and evidence-based interventions on the socio-political dynamics of Africans along the West African Corridor, across the continent, and within the diaspora. We specifically aim to use technology as the starting point for our interventions, aligning with the realities of the 21st century.

Gender and Inclusivity

We carry out advocacies and trainings on inclusivity in terms of mainstreaming gender within scholarship and civil society. We have trained stakeholders within this sector, especially with respect to curriculum development, institutional policy making, training schemes, minority rights, and inclusive operational models. We have also made efforts to effectively manage migration through training, profitable empowerment, and advocacy on integrating migrants along the West African Corridor. We have also leveraged technology to improve access to agro-inputs in bridging the gap between consumers and farmers.

Citizenship and Political Education

We carry out enlightenment projects on the concept and context of citizenship, including through political education on electoral and governance processes. This includes interventions with the media and political actors on the constitution, agenda setting, political communication, ICT4D, conflict management, press freedom, development communication, and good governance
